John at Automation Technology made his case and we agreed on a partial refund. I would have liked more but I'm okay with it.
Their support is lacking but I have been happy with their customer service.

So I rewired one of the motors and now it works perfectly. There doesn't appear to be any damage from the incorrect wiring.

I paid an extra $120 for the Pre-wired kit from Automation Technology (which seems silly now that I know how to do it) and I have requested a refund based on that fact that I have to do the wiring my self and the hours of trouble-shooting to find it.

They have been in the loop during the entire trouble-shooting process and they were the ones who pointed me to Gecko for support.

I will let you know how they respond.

That is what I thought! I just wanted to hear it from someone else.
This was purchased as a pre-wired "Plug & Play" Kit from Automation Technology.

I talked to Gecko support and I was told it sounds like the motors are not wired correctly. I purchased a pre-wired "Plug & Play" kit. I know I should have an ohmmeter but I don't.
Does this look correct to you?

Well, I have been through the entire motor tuning section again and have tested all the settings. I still only get the shaking/vibration but it will start and stop slower with a change in acceleration or shake/vibrate faster or slower with a change in velocity. I have been testing only a single motor at a time. I had to leave for an hour or so to go to a meeting and when I returned, the motor was extremely hot. l left it plugged in but there was no motion.
If I unplug the parallel cable, sometimes there is an audible hum from the motor and it immediately begins to get warm when the system is powered up.

Any suggestions?

you motor`s will need calibrated it`s in the m3 manual how to do it

I have looked through the manual and I can't find anything in it in regards to "Motor Calibration". Can you be a little more specific?
I used the "Motor Tuning" settings provided by the Momus instructions.

I am building a Momus CNC 2.1 machine and I just received a Gecko G540 Stepper Motor Kit from Automation Technology

The Kit includes:
1: 1 pcs 48V 7.3A switching power supply (110VAC/220VAC)

2: 1 pcs Gecko G540 4 axis stepper motor driver, Current Version

3:  3 pcs High-torque Nema 23 1/4" shaft 381 oz-in stepper motors. These are optimized for the G540  at  3.5A  current , KL23H2100-35-4B

4: 3pcs High-performance flexible, Shielded  motor cables  12 feet cables.  No soldering

One side wired with BD9 connector, one side wired with motor plug

I have fresh install of 32bit Windows 7 and have followed all of the documentation instructions from Gecko and Momus perfectly (I think...) The kit is basically "plug & play" so there was no soldering and resistors to install. Everything has gone exactly like it should have until I tried jogging the motors. All they will do is randomly shake and vibrate when I try to jog them. All 3 motors do the exact same thing so I am sure it is a problem with my Mach3 setup. I downloaded and installed the G540 XML into Mach3 file as well.
