Hi
CNC 6040z 1.5 k

A week a go I try to calibrate z axis and was when the problem start.

If a make a z axis cut at 1 mm
It make a ramp from 0 to 1mm and stay there until have to go up after that start the same way 0 to 1mm and go on.
I use art cam pro and the ramp setting is in off the problem is when I run in mach 3  .

My  name is Rafael and I have been using mach 3 with a cnc 6040z for a year plus so this make me a rookie on the cnc community. I do small stuff becouse is for practice I espect to retire in one year then it go to work full time on this. So on this way I learn to use and do stuff on this cnc. I like making relive carving, wood carving on birds wood turning evrething on wood, and love to look at how a machines work.

I need some help wit this.
A week a go I try to work with the z axis and the problem start.
When the machine go to start point to cut it make a ramp  (dwell) to the z point.  All the  time z go when it go to start it do the ramp (dwell).
Maybe somebody help me with this

Hi I am a new on this from Puerto Rico. I have a new 6040 z chinise cnc is what i need. Hope to get around and chat with a cnc people. I all ready have my machine (2 weeks) working and for a biginer all ready made some things . Have a grate  day.

When I run a g code is a small pause between each movement which is slowing down the part to be cut. Some solution for this
