I second what ger21 stated. We had the same issue. Finally installed a 32 bit version of windows 7 and all seems to work. Would highly recommend a xp OS though. Seems that mach works better with that

General Mach Discussion / torch goes out on own path
« on: March 11, 2016, 02:03:54 PM »
Hi everyone. Our CNC table does something funny. It only happens every so often. So here my partner nested qty. 6, 24" flanges. On the last one, in the middle of the outer diameter circle the torch decided it wanted to chart its own path. Any ideas where the issue could be hiding? Is it in mach or sheetcam? Any help is appreciated.

General Mach Discussion / ref Z axis
« on: August 02, 2015, 07:49:21 PM »
Am running a cnc plasma table and have a homing switch on the z axis. Was wondering if there was a way to have the z axis ref home and then come up from home at a set value? Any help is appreciated.

the outputs from Mach 3 run into a Gecko G540 controller. Can I get a torch on/off signal from the G540?

"motor tuning" tab under "config". sorry i was misleading before when i said ports and pins. but it is under config tab and motor tuning. And you can do all the x and y axis individually

Awesome, curious question. You are just wanting to plasma cut with your cnc?
