Thank You guys.

I tried turning off toolpath as Tweakie suggested in his first post and it seams that did the trick. I'm machining new piece with 360,000 lines of code; once done I will confirm if toolpath display indeed solve the issue.

It happens every time I run longer code. It doesn't matter if the code is 300,000 lines or 500,000 lines. It always happens on the very few last lines (less then a millimeter of final carving work).  Mach runs through the rest of the code, and goes on the first line as everything was done, but the machine will go left-right few centimeters forever. Sometimes it even gets stuck. But always losses XY position after this (Z is fine).

Here is the bottom part of the code:

Purchasing new license didn't fix the issue.
Still, after 350,000+ lines of code, on the last few lines machine goes crazy.

Go figure, machine came with the pirated license. I bought new license today under my name.
I'll let you know if this solved the issue on hand.

Sure. How do I do that?

Thanks, will try that.
Just to be clear, it is not the PC that gets stuck, rather the table loses position and moves to some odd place.

General Mach Discussion / Wacky towards the end of G code

Hello All;

Hopefully someone can shed some light on my problem.

I run relief cut from Artcam. It takes from 3-8 hours to finish and towards the very end, when only few lines left to finish machine gets stuck. I tried changing orientation of a cut but didn't help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
