Help I'm trying to upgrade my mach installation to 3.042.020. But when I download and install the upgrade from Machsupport site. I don't see the turn screens. Am I missing something?

TIA, Pat

Hi Brian,

I just downloaded the 3/30/05 version of version 1.04 and now multipass G code is generated and seems to work correctly in Mach3

Thanks.

Hi Brian,

Re. Previous Posts:

My comment.
Lazy cam now shows multiple passes graphically but the exported file is single pass, appears to be the first pass only.

Your Response.
is this in rev 1.04?

Yes I'm using ver. 1.04 and all I see in Mach 3 is a single first pass

Hey Brian,

Once again thank you for your rapid response. Lazy cam now shows multiple passes graphically but the exported file is single pass, appears to be the first pass only.

Hi Brian,

I finally got Lazy Cam loaded and running. Looks like it's going to be a really nice tool when fully implemented.

But newbie that I am, I have a few questions/issues as follows:

1. I don't see the execute button that is shown on the video.

2. I can't rotate the image on the screen to see a 3d view. Rotation doesn't appear to work the same as Mach3.

3. No matter what I try I can't get it to generate more than 1 pass.

For instance if I set my final depth to .125 and depth per pass at .060. Lazy Cam seems to generate only one pass at .060

TIA,
Pat

Hi Brian,

Still no luck. When I run www.machsupport.com/LazyCam.zip and look at my Task Manager it shows that "www.machsupport.com/LazyCam.zip - Microsoft Internet Explorer" is running but nothing happens. This is identical to the result I get when I click on the download site. Is the fact that "- Microsoft Internet Explorer" is appended to the address an indicator of a problem?

Must be something on my end but I sure am stumped. I'd really like to try Lazy Cam out but alas no luck.

TIA,
Pat

Hi Brian,

Still can't download. When I look at my task manager it says it's running but nothing seems to happen. I looked at the properties of the Mach2 and 3 downloads and it looks like they are downloaded with an .exe file. The Lazy cam is a .zip file without an .exe. Is that as it should be?

As far as I know I've got zip converters on this machine and they have been working fine. Do I need something special on my end?
