I'm thinking about using a npn proximity sensor to set my tool height.

I'm using a 1.5kw spindle on a cnc router table and the tool is not grounded.

Has anyone successively done this?

Thx.

Brains Development / Can a brain trigger a wave file?
« on: March 30, 2015, 04:07:58 PM »
I'm able to trigger a output to operate a physical (powered) buzzer/alarm using a brain.

However, I would like to have a wav file (audio alarm) play when I push the e-stop button or any action for that matter.

Bodini,

Good to hear there's a way to do it. However, I'm not familiar with dealing with Brains. Could you clue me in on how to do this?

A sample of a Brain will help me figure this out.

Thx

I would like to have an alarm sound when a manual tool change is required.

Any help on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated.

I want to add a button to my screen set to pull up and run the Newfangled Turn Wizard. I have an OEM-code 230 (Display Wizard selection window) on my screen which does open the wizard selection window. However, went I press my OEM-code 321 button it doen't do anything.

It seem like 321 should open the wizard and run it.

Thx Mav

Eric,

I've install your addon and I'll give it a try after I go through the pdf.

From what I can see (without trying it out), I looks like you have spent some time on it...

Looks Good!
