hi  thanks for the reply but were does pin 1 (enable) connect to on the pokeys 56u board and does all pins 2,4,6,8,10 need to be connected to the gnd . thanks dave

i got the x axis to work but it was getting dark so i left it  and came back next day to complete the y and z axix. the x axis  motor now just wobbles from left to right rapidly and mach 3 doesnt control anything at all. can anyone tell me what wire on the 10 pin connector goes to on the pokeys56u board please. any pictures will help greatly i just cant seem to get the axix moving again . thanks dave
