The installer won't run because it is a msi installed program, not an exe.  For some reason, Win 7 doesn't want to run it. I can't copy it, expand it, paste it, or run it.  Is there a version in exe format instead of msi?

PM sent

I purchased 2010 screenset for my mill and was using it fine until my computer crashed.  I have a new computer now, and am trying to reinstall my software, but the 2010 setup files fail to install.  I get a message that it will damage my computer and Win 7 will not allow me to run the program.

How do I go about getting the files into my new computer?

Thx

Kind of what I figured looking at the code.  I haven't written code in 10 years, and that was VB.  The macro index will help

Thanks

Thanks for the response.

Do I simply change probe speed?

I have never emailed you.  Sorry if my question pissed you off.

I do like screenset the more I use it, I just wish the probing feature woiuld work.

My problem is that I can't edge probe because the code does not back away far enough after initial contact to disconnect the probe tip.  I am using the standard electrical probe witha 1.8 inch tip.  I have gone in and messed witht he code a little bit and got a couple functions to work by reducing the D value for D/4 to D/2, but it doesn't work on all of the macros.  I have trued my probe tip as best I can on my drill press.  I can't get it the adjustment screws on my X2 mill to dial it in perfectly.

Is the a macro set that adjusts the probing back off or is there a line of code I need to cut and paste?  Also, is there a table that tells me which function is assigned to which macro?  Reassign button function inherent in Mach 3 doesn't work with 2010.

Thanks
Dan

I adjusted for noise, but haven't tested yet.  I tried access the macro by the button edit feature, but no luck

I have 2010 screen set working, I think.  I got it to hopefully have a viable probing routine, but once I got it installed and set up, I ran into a problem.  I am trying to find the center of a circular pocket, but after initial contact on the Y axis, I get a "probe ignored" message.  It appears it is not backing off enough to reset the probe.  How do I adjust this?

Also, I was wondering if there are flyout tool tips for the buttons?  I understand I will have to learn them, but it is kinda slow having to resort to the manual for each button until I learn them.

Thanks
Dan
