General Mach Discussion / Re: Pulsing to fast, ACPI to standard pc

No. have them set at 1A, stepper controllers can go to 2.5. I have tried all the way up to 2.5 and down to .5. This machine doesnt have any force put on the steppers while running. Just moves the x and y.

Steppers are stopping, and missing steps. tried changing Vref on stepper controller, changing speed and velocity in motor tune with no luck. tried changing the ACPI to standard, but I dont see a standard driver when I look for it. I can only get 40IPM out of the steppers and need at least twice that.
Running probotix pbx-rf breakout, sidestepper controllers at 1.5A, 280oz in steppers, 1/4 20 screws.

OK got the machine to move, figured out 64 bit Win 7 doesnt work, so loaded 7 32 bit. Now jusy have to figure out the pin for the laser. I have 1 and 1 set with the active low set, i keep the laser off when I start the software, but it doesnt turn it off when i run . so still need to work on that.
This is the board im running, my output is the last two screws on right side of output. Pins 2,3,4,5,6,7,14,15,16,17, are used for the steppers.   https://www.probotix.com/wiki/index.php/PBX-RF

I have a laser on my machine and have it hooked to output 1 on my Break out board. I have output 1 checked in ports and pins, but dont know what port and pin to enter to make it work.
I know it will work, used to have it set before computer crash, but didnt write it down.

Trying to figure this out. computer crashed and reloaded Win7, and all the drivers, on the LPT1 it shows I/O CFE8-CFEF, I/O CFE0-CFE7, on LPT2 it shows i/o DEFC-DEFF. What do I use to enter into Mach3 port? Or is there a way to change it?

Already tried the UC 100, I got from a friend, Im thinking I might go to a dual boot, so that when I want to run this machine, just reboot back to 7, then reboot for other machine. I dont want to buy another computer, I got 5 now.

Yes I have read the posts about cheap chineese stuff, Thats why I got a Probotix PBX-RF controller, It has been working fine until we upgraded to 10. I will keep looking, I really need this machine, I have a lot invested in it and dont want to get rid of it just cause it wont play with 10.
