Thanks for the answers! I'll check into it,
as far as M22, i'm running MP3000-DTHCII-DCC-HyT+scriber-8 post in sheetcam, and it appears a lot in the code.

General Mach Discussion / codes manual

I tried searching, found nothing,
is there a pdf or manual that states every M, S and G command and their function?
I like to play a little bit with my post processor to have a faster machine, but i dont know what a few mean ( M22, S900, etc.)

Thanks

Sorry, youre right,
forgot to say, i have my floating heat switch wired as a safety stop with shielded wire in place of the blue jumper wire in the bladerunner box, in case ohmic sensing fails.
If i disable e-stop in ports and pins, will my switch still work?

Does anybody know what it means? Or fixes?
It happened a couple of times last week during cuts. Everything stops.
I just need to press reset and start a new piece, but its annoying
running a bulltear plasma table with sheetcam and mach3

Thanks

General Mach Discussion / THC on, but not working...sometimes
« on: February 11, 2014, 02:00:10 PM »
Anybody has this?
Usually, everything works fine, but:
Running a plasma, the THC is blinking green, but doesnt move the Z axis during cutting.
Close, restart mach3, it runs fine.
Its a pain, cause i start a piece, and dont know if it works or not...
The voltage goes waaay out of parameters, and yes, i pressed enter after entering voltage.
Is there a trick, has anybody had that experience?
Thank you

no delay. the pause is very brief, but enough to ding the hole.

Hello everyone,
first post here and mach 3 newbie. I'm trying to make holes with an overburn, with the plasma torch turning off a little before the end. ( I know how to use a lead out, but i would prefer this way) But, mach pauses slightly at M05, then continues motion, wich leaves a divot.

Is there another way to turn off the torch? Maybe S code, or in some way a line that "clicks" the torch button in mach? I tried to copy and rename as S0 the M05 macro and use the new command,
but it doesnt work

I know there is the VB editor, but im a little lost in complex g-code writing.

Thank you

Richard
