FAQs / Re: No Motor turn

Yes I have fixed the problem - when I was told that the 0/5V pin to the controllers from the C 10 board is 5V - then I figured out the Jumper on the C 10 board was in the wrong position (0V) by measuring with a voltmeter - once I change the jumper all was well

FAQs / No Motor turn
« on: October 25, 2013, 02:35:25 PM »
I am Very New to CNC - I have Mach 3 (R03.043.066) running on a off lease computer with windows 7 (32 bit) home premium - I have the LPT 1 port connected to a C10 card - and drivers and stepper motors - when I toggle the DRO with the direction buttons I get DRO changes but No motor movement - on the diagnostics page - I noticed with the cable unplugged from the C10 card pin buttons 4-8 turned green - but when I plug it in they are all off (pin 4,5  Z axis  pin 6,7 Y axis  pin 8,9 X axis) - I belive I need to get these green
in order to have output to get the motors to turn
