CS-Lab / missing encoder pulses with the ip-a
« on: December 23, 2015, 03:37:48 AM »
Hi Jonathon,
I would look for a mechanical issue first. I think if the controller or drive was out, it would be out all the time. Have a look for loose coupling/pulleys. Check all grub screws.

Hi, as an example. Have a look at the one on CS-Labs website. I have it running on my machine without any problems.

Happy Birthday Hood. Hope it's a peaceful one. With not too much time answering people's questions. And more time making things.

CS-Lab / defective Plugin Found ignoreing
« on: March 20, 2015, 04:41:16 AM »
Hi Jun, make sure you are using the correct plugin. I have the ip-s running on both Mach3 good, and Mach4 with some slight issues. These issues will settle down once mach4 stops changing on a weekly basis. I'm away from home at the moment but will let you know the correct files you need in mach3 and the firmware you need in the ip-s. Should be home Tuesday.
Best regards

Hi Jun,
Is it running mach3 or mach4?

Hi Simpson36,
If the customer has a Macropump running, include your pump in there file. I have done it successfully on my machine with several totally unrelated things.

CS-Lab / Mach3 + CS LAB Ethernet 32 or 64 Bit??
« on: January 07, 2015, 06:53:00 AM »
Hi FredMazak,
I'm running a Csmio ip-s controller on a 64 bit windows 7, and both Mach3 and 4 run fine. I have several VB scripts running without any problems on Mach 3. Mach 4 has a small glitch with m3/m4 not starting the spindle. But the spindle on/off button works ok. M3/M4 sends the 0-10v to drive but it doesn't activate the output.
Hope this helps.
