General Mach Discussion / Re: FeatureCam
« on: December 27, 2013, 10:00:55 AM »
Thanks for the feedback.  I think I have found my problem.  After studying the Mach3 list of G-codes, I found G90.1 for Turning on i and j incremental moves.  PostedG90.1 at the beginning of my Gcode.  My programs seem to be running fine.   Thanks again for your input.

Need some coaching.... ???
Trying to run current trial version of Mach3
Using Featurecam 2014
seems to have trouble processing/executing G2 and G3 codes
Have i & j codes set to incremental

Mach3 just stops when it hits a G2 or G3 code

 ??? Bad News again...
Accidentally moved my y axis into its limit switch.  This has killed all movement of the machine.  Have checked the auto-Override on the setting page with no results.  Just dead in the water.  I was actually able to run a couple of programs yesterday(just cutting air).
Think I'll go take a nap.

General Mach Discussion / Machine zero
« on: June 18, 2013, 10:44:07 AM »
???I am totally stumped.  How does one set Machine Zero.  I want to set it to the lower corner of my work table.  I have read the manual and watched the videos.  I am just missing something.
I am having no trouble setting work coordinated to zero and running programs.  I just want to understand how to get machine coordinates to a fixed table location.
Thanks

:) Good news on this end.  With help from Brett, I got movement from my stepper motors from the first time.  I needed to enable some additional software setting.
This is a major break through.  I think I'm on the road to using Mach3.  Thanks to those who have offered suggestions.

Brett... I have tried have tried the "Auto Limit Override" no success.
My current thinking is to remove the stepper motors to see if I can manually move the axis off the limit switch.

General Mach Discussion / Manual movement of Stepper motors w/o power
« on: June 15, 2013, 08:10:19 AM »
???Short of disassembling my ProMax 42 router, is there any way to mannually move my steppers off of the limit switches.
All of my attempts to override and jog have not worked.  Thanks for any input.

???  Having a problem with limit switches.  The manual index points me to section 6-11.  There is no section 6-11 in manual I down loaded yesterday.  Also looking for section 10-23.  Can anyone point to resources for manually overriding all of my limit switches.  All of my axis x,y, &z are sitting on their limit switch.  Can not move any axis... very frustrating.
