I was thinking it might do that, but it wasn't clear in the video, thanks for your help TP.

In the Art Soft Video Tutorials, in the Inputs and Outputs portion of the video, there is a moment when the gentleman is (I am assuming) pressing some physical limit switches to show how such an action will light up one of the "LEDs" on the Diagnostic screen in Mach.

When he does it, the X+ led lights when he hits that switch and the X- lights when he hits the other switch.

I have my limit switches connected thusly: Gecko 540 (port 1) to C contact on (X+) Limit Switch, wire then connects the NC contact on this same switch to the C contact on the (X-) Limit Switch, wire then connects the NC contact on this switch back to Gecko 540 (Port 12 [ground]).

When I activate either switch, Mach3 only ever registers that the X+ Limit has been reached.

How does Mach-3 know the difference between X+ and X- in this regard as they seem to be the same circuit?

What did I do wrong?
