Screen designer tips and tutorials / Re: Adding screen
« on: February 15, 2017, 08:31:12 PM »
This is really neat!  Very nice setup.  I am wanting to make a touch screen pendant that I can do things like this but really don't know where to start.

I was watching your video and really like it.  I am in the process of trying to make a pendant myself with a HMI touchscreen.  Is there any way you could post names of software used and what variables and modbus you used?  I know the CMORE touchscreen wants to be primary to so I would have to try going thru the daigslave server to, but any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

General Mach Discussion / Re: UC100 w/C11GS Breakout Board

Did you ever get this problem fixed?  I just bought a c11gs board and hooked it up.  My system worked prior to this installation.  An I get a 5v power light and the estop light but I get no output to motors.  None of my output lights come on but the mach3 screen shows direction change but my axis don't move.  Let me know if you fixed yours.  Thanks.

I am in the middle of another upgrade on my cnc machine.  I was reading and downloaded a list of the OEM codes.  What I am trying to do is create a hmi interface (handheld) to use at the table, like a pendant.  I have a small Cmore screen that is Ethernet controllable and saw there is a TCP modus setup within MAch3.    What I am wanting to do is put all the buttons I need on a screen and bring it to the table, the normal stuff.  How would I go about setting up?  Does anyone know.  My screen is modus compliant so that would work, I guess I am wandering if I will need to do a VB script also or just be able to trigger a button and it allow function.  Thanks.

I saw your write up.  I have a Allen Bradley L23E I wanted to play around with Mach3.  I just have not started.  I was wanted to build a touchscreen remote pendant but have not had much success with what I had.  What are you using the RSlinx for?  I did get some sample code to talk Modbus Slave or Master for compact logix.  If wanted.  Like I said it is a sample though.

Brains Development / Re: Arduino -> modbus -> Brain

Oscbe112,

I saw you thread and thought your pendant looked cool.  I am in the middle of a build for a pendant.  Have not gotten to far but thought you could give some insight on the pendant you designed.  I was going to use a Cmore touchscreen at my table to jog axis around, turn vacuum zones on/off, ect.  When I saw you integrated the Arduino to mach3 and saw something that looks to be touch screen on yours it got my brain going.  Do I really need the cmore and all the code to make this work?   I was maybe thinking a 5 or 7" touch screen TFT adapted on the arduino mega maybe with hard estop on the side or front, and a couple of selector switches.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

General Mach Discussion / Has anyone used a Cmore touchscreen with Mach3
« on: September 17, 2014, 02:44:29 PM »
I was wandering if anyone has used a Cmore touchscreen with mach3 cnc.  I am trying to make a remote terminal on my table cnc to be able to move axis's, tool zero, laser on/off, vacuum table zones and ect.  I really would like to use it if I can.  I think it would be pretty cool if I could.  I then could add a physical Estop.  The part number is EA7-S6M. This screen does have a Serial PLC Port: RS-232/422/485 15-Pin D-sub (female) and ethernet.  Here is the info on screen.  http://www.automationdirect.com/static/specs/ea7s6mr.pdf

Thank you in advance if any one has any knowledge on this......

I think this project is really cool.  Was this a success.  I have built my table from ground up and eventually want to put a tools changer on also.  This how definitely got me thinking.  You have any drawings or anything?

Tweakie thank you.  That might be where I have my issue now.  I will uninstalled Vcarve pro and see if I even need to get another computer.
