Hi David,

As Chip said, it may be a printer port issue. Try setting your printer port to EPP in bios and see if that corrects the problem.

Hello David,

Here is another xml file for you to try. I have one more buried in my achives somewhere that I'll have to dig up. Don't get frustrated because I think I had this problem at one time.

Hi Dave,

Was just wondering if you've had any luck with getting your axis's to jog. There are lots of documention on the MaxNC 10 here in the forum, just do a search for it.

Dave,

Try this xml for your mill and see if it works. I had my maxnc running with this configuration. You may have to make a few adjustments in the motor tuning, etc. to suit your mill.

Having problems configuring Mach3 and the cnc4pc C8 relay. I've tried almost every configuration and cannot get the spindle motor to run using this relay. I have the output in Mach3 set to port1 pin 17. I'm using a gecko G540 for a driver. I have the relay wired to terminal 5 (output 1) on the gecko540 BOB.

If anyone can help with port & pins settings, etc. , I would appreciate any help that's out there. Starting to pull my hair out on this one.  ;D

The power goes into the relay on one side, spindle hooks up to relay.  Then on the switch side,  a wire from the BOB (what ever pin number) goes to the relay and a wire goes back to the ground on the BOB.  Computer sends 5 volts to the Pin, triggers relay, spindle gets power.

Really a very nice screen set. GOOD WORK!

On the jog shuttle where the graphics don't all appear. Has this been corrected yet or am I just stupid and missed something.

Hi Greg,

I went through your file and made two changes that I could see were incorrect. Try the attached file and see if it makes a difference.

Just wanted to let you know that maxnc was purchased by a new owner. Maybe their support group will be better now. Why not give them a call and see.
