I have just purchased Mach2 and I am trying to configure the inputs and outputs to work with my controller but nothing seems to respond. They recommend Mach2 on the controller site so I know it’s compatible. If anyone knows how to help it would be much appreciated!

I have a Taig mill with four axis controller (XS-3525/8S-4) and just purchased mach2 as sugested by the controllers web site but i cant seem to get the board to respond to any command sent to the board by the computer. i ust to use linux CNC which worked perfectly except you could only use one file type. so i switched to mach but now can not figure out how to get my machine up and running. if anyone could help with setup that would be great i have almost completed the users guide and didnt seem to help. any input would be appreicated.
