Ok, it looks like that is what's happening but I can't get my machine to move now. I hit the "tab" button on the keyboard and the jog utility pops up but the arrow buttons don't move the machine at all. I also hit the flashing stop button. Thanks

My computer died, I think it was the video card maybe. So I took the hard drive out and stuck in another old machine. Now I don't know how to find the file with the Mach3 settings for my machine. Someone said something about an "xml" file or something? thanks

Thanks. The noise/vibration is in the motors.

I don't know if this makes any difference but, it's timing belt drive.

My hotwire foam cutter is close to being operational. But the motors on the x axis are vibrating/rattling. I found something once which explained "resonance" but I don't see anything in the motor tuning feature iof Mach3. maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Thanks.
Here's the machine....

I have some more CNC machines I want to build including a servo powered router, hotwire machine, and a laser. I can design all my vector files in my Sign program, import them into Aspire to 3D them and generate G-Code for Mach3. I already have my Hotwire machine controller working with Mach3, but need some aluminum parts for the linear guide system.
Thanks

Nevermind. I saw a couple on YOutube and they were cutting aluminum with an 800w spindle.

This little machine is supposed to be for "Milling". Would it be possible to use this for making things like gantry ends and other relatively small parts out of aluminum or aluminum alloy?
Thanks

Thanks.
I have an e-stop connected to the breakout board and assigned it's pen to "0" as per the video tutorial. I'm getting 4.44v even when not pressing a key.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uglCm_qsojk
