General Mach Discussion / reference home history????

Hey all new poster here, looking for some help after doing a forum search and coming up dry. I'm sure this has happened to more than one person, but I'm wondering if there is a history button, or panel, where I can look up previous reference x's? I did a bit change on a project, and moved it to the general location of my home, and then instead of pressing go to home, i pressed reference x 
. Anyone got any ideas how to fix this? I did a couple of search terms but came up empty and I couldn't find anything in the manual about it. thanks for your help.
