Mach4 General Discussion / Mach4 and Huanyang HY series VFD

There is a plugin for Mach3 that allows you to control a Huanyang HY Series VFD that uses a non-standard modbus protocol via a USB to RS-485 converter.

Does such a plugin exist for Mach4, or do I need to upgrade my VFD to one with a standard modbus implementation?

If I need to upgrade my VFD, can anyone recommend a Mach4 compatible one that will put out 1.5kw and operate on 110Vac?

This is the last piece keeping me from going from Mach3 to Mach4...

I have the WHB04B running under Mach3 and I would love to have it supported in Mach4.

Would you consider me for testing your card for Mach4?  I have sent you my email via PM.

Ok, we called this Wired mach3 handwheel LHB04.

We have wireless new version WHB04B series, max support 6 Axis.

Mach4 General Discussion / License confusion

I'm thinking of buying Mach4 Hobby, but I currently use Mach3 on 3 machines (1 cnc router, 1 Sherline mill and 1 Sherline lathe.)

I've read conflicting information about how many PC's a single copy of Mach4 can be used on.  Some of the confusion may come from changes in the way licensing has been handled, but the Newfangled website currently says "IMPORTANT NOTE: The LICENSE will only work for the Computer for which you supply the PC ID at checkout. Each PC has a unique ID code and the license works in coordination with this code."

Can someone explain if a single purchased copy of Mach4 Hobby can be used on my 3 PC's?
