Hey Hood,

I had no idea that incorrect profile was called out in the Mach made shortcut....I have spent almost 2 days screwing with it and never would have thought to look there.

Thanks very Much. It worked straight away with the correct XML being called out. I learned something today and will pass that along to the other Mach users I know in the Vancouver area.

Thanks again,
Jim

Hey Hood,

Thanks very much for the reply and the time to look into it.

But I don't understand what you mean about the address. I am not a genius about these things. I would like to get the machine running today if possible.

Thanks,
Jim

Hi Hood,

I am a little challenged by this forum, but working thru it.

I think I have attached the XML file. I am grateful for your assistance.

Thanks,
Jim

Hood,

I guess I fiquered it out the last time and forgot to comment on that fact.

This is a different machine and I am pulling my hair out with this one. I still have not been able to get it to read the XML file that it did read the original installation. What could possibly be wrong? I have no back up for this XML as the hard drive failed and I assumed the orginal one would work again (that I had stored on another PC.)

As a side question, under PURCHASES, there are break out boards. What difference is there between the stock one and anyone of those boards. Would they offer better performance?

Thanks Jim

Hey There,

After a hard drive failure, I am reloading the system. I had a copy of the XML from my machine manufacturer and pasted it in the Mach 3 folder. The problem is it doesn't seem t pick it up or something. Do I need to delete something first?

Any help please.

Jim

I am running a Sherline 2000 series mill, and had my hard drive go down. I have a back up of the entire Mach 3 directory, but where the hell do I find the mototr tuning info?? Or how do I recreate it???

Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

Thanks,
Jim
