Hi Guys, Sorry about the late reply,

I have now purchased the Engineering Company next door to my place, its taken me a few months to settle in..

I have moved the machines onto the shop floor, Is there anyone local to West Yorkshire that can help me get these running on Mach 3?

I will happily pay Labour for the conversion.

Thank you in advance

Jay

« on: December 19, 2011, 05:12:30 AM »
Hi everyone,

Having searched through posts and on google i think I've confused myself lol

Can anyone recommend a Breakout board and a isolated analogue board for a Boxford 240TCL please?

Or even a UK Based Supplier I can ring and get advice from?

Cheers peeps

Jay

Thank you AngelTech,

Can you recommend a breakout board please? I may need a little guidance with the interfacing.

Thank you again

Hi recently purchased a Boxford 240TCL and a Bridgeport Series 1 R2E3 which had been rarely used by the College they were in,

The Boxford has been upgraded to a Serial Interface, Converted to Single Pulley, Homing Switches, Turbo Boards and V10 Eproms by Boxford.

The Bridgeport literally looks brand new.

Can anyone help me get started converting these to Mach3 please? Any Help will be appreciated

Thank you in advance

Hi Ladies and Gents,

I'm Jay, Hope your all well,

I have recently purchased two machines, A Boxford 240TCL and a Bridgeport R2E3

I did an engineering apprenticeship when I was 16, Did Mechanical, Electrical, Fabrication etc. until I finally settled at being a Maintenance Sparky. Unfortunately due to redundancy's I never got to finish my apprenticeship. I moved on and left engineering all together. After starting my own catering business I am alot more comfortable and with alot of time on my hands I bought the two machines as a project.

It's been that long so I will probably be using this forum alot to get help to convert these machines to mach3, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have various plans once these machines are complete to build minature models and maybe a V12 Engine I saw recently on youtube

But thats some time away yet lol,

Well thought i'd say Hello and take it from there

kind regards

Jay
