Thanks again Ray! I think I will give it a try. Do you have plans available for your design or for sale? I don't know how to keep the disc springs from applying force on the on the bearings. That is my main concern for starting this project.

Sorry to hear this Ray. When I'm using an end mill I typically only take of .030-.040 per pass. After reading through the post it sounds like you possibly taking quite a bit deeper cuts. Would your ATC work with the shallow passes that I'm taking? Thanks again.

Hi Ray,

I enjoyed reading about your ATC. I'm curious on how it's preforming?  I'm looking into building one for my cnc Bridgeport.

Currently I do not have any limit home switches setup. I 'm using the Home without limit switches. I have not checked the repeatability. Thanks for the help!

Does anyone have a simplified produce for setting the tool offset in Turn? I follow the manual it's helpful but I would like to have something in a simplified version. I'm using a four tool ATC turret. Thanks for the help!

Hey Hood,

I hope all is well with you. I did try the Ang Short Rot feature. It did not work. Would you have any other thoughts? Thank you again!

Hi Hood, I have my tool changer running well. Thanks to your post on tool changer M6 info. I do have a questions, if you would help. If I want my turret to rotate only one direction all the time how would I achieve this? Currently it turns to the direction of the closes tool. Again thanks for your help!

Thanks Hood! My cam program does call out the tool # and offsets. So I should be able to setup Mach3 as you described and go from there. I think maybe my thought of how it operates is wrong. Do you have any other advice for an amateur? Thanks again!

Good afternoon Gents,

I'm new to mach3 mill and turn. I'm building a automatic tool changer for my cnc lathe. I currently use bobcad/cam as my cam package and Mach3 Turn for my operation. The G code that Hood posted (I thank him alot for taking the time). Can I insert this in my Mach3 post processor ? I thank you for your help!
