General Mach Discussion / Torch always On !
« on: January 01, 2011, 11:30:27 AM »
Ok, Happy new year everyone, Instead of being home, I am obsessed with getting this toy going  :)

On the Bladerunner Plasma version of Mach3, When I Reset The torch on light on my pcboard comes on, even if i dont press the  torch on.
Does someone have insight to this?
Also, I have hooked up limit switches to the X and Y, when I plug them into the board on x home and y home the diagagnostic screen shows Arc OK ?

I have posted the XML, iff you see anything else out of order that can help me get this going, By all means feel free to fix it  ::)

Thanks for your Help
Rob,

PS I can also be emailes at    hsfireplace @ gmail.com

hi again ! actually it turns out that the file was set to read only.
But now I have another issue! I wrote to Tom at Candcnc and I guess I was to use the Bladerunner version of Mach3 or my system wont work.
Problem is, I copied all ports and pins and homing limits. But can not get the machine to move anymore. I am beside myself, I almost had it all set. can you check and see this xml if you can see a problem? I hope this is the file.
Thx
Rob

Hi again Folks and Happy New year.
I finally had everything where i wanted it, and went to the top and saved setting ( but it does not save ) I keep finding this out due to the Lovely Microsoft way it freezes up the computer, Not Responding, etc to the point where i need to reboot. ( Unlike my Mac , HINT HINT ! )
Even though it was saved, all settings are lost.
Any advice?
Thx ???

Thanks for the reply hood, is Y front back and X left right? I think I did try to slave the A to Y axis, without luck, I must have something wrong. Anyway to check it?
Thanks again Merry Christmas !!!
