Mr. Hood,  I upgraded my z axis from 6"  to 12" processing distance. Now I have lead screw

KERK Brand Anti-Backlash Nuts on all axis
-0.1 pitch lead screws. Standard (Feed rate of 150 inch per minute)
-Kerk(TM) Nut
+ Resolution .0005"
+ No load backlash .0005"

+ Double End Support.
Nema23 Stepper motor 1/8 microstep.

Can you help me with the right motor setting with this one.

Thanks Hood it is running okay now, but when I load the G-code, Mach 3 is not loading all the g-code and the tool path is not complete in the mach3 screen. I tried my code in the other machine and it is all fine. Can you help me with this one. Thanks again.

Hi Mr. Hood,

I set up the Native units in inches.
I have the info on the link [http://www.icesculpturepro.com/mach3-6-2.JPG] what numbers I copied  (Steps per,velocity/acceleration) from the screen shot. I guess where all my problems coming from sorry I'm newbie on this. Thanks for your help..

It looks like I have the same problem!  I got this CNC set it up and run the program but it is cutting backward (mirror) and it is cutting really really small. I attached some information might be helpful to someone wants to help me. Thanks


The use of high-precision ball screw:diameter 16 mm; pitch 10 mm;

Router is the length of 50 inches, width is 33 inches, 120cm 84cm
Effective processing distance: X = 40 inches,Y = 24 inches, Z = 5 inches (100cm 60CM 12CM);

NEMA23(Y-Z-A) and NEMA34(X) 3A stepper motor ;Maximum engraving speed of 6 M / min;

30v 3A  CNC drive
