General Mach Discussion / Sherline w/Gecko drive mach3 turn locks up help

I have a sherline based machine with gecko g540 controller I can jog in mach3turn no problem. I go to mach 3 wizards and NFS wizard tried both (with simple facing operation) the stepper motors act like they are locked up and click they act like they want to turn. motors move smooth in jog just when I go to auto run they lock up any help is appreciated

General Mach Discussion / Light machines 0400 lathe convertion to Mach3 help

I acquired a light machine 0400 cnc lathe with control box I already have mach3 on an taig cnc mill (gecko) was wondering if anyopne can point me in the right direction on how to proceed converting this machine to use mach3 and does anyone have any control boxes ready to go that will convert this machine to mach 3? Machine is in very good condition I am also looking at cost trying to keep it low as possible and still have a dependable lathe. Thanks in advance
