HI
I am Nathan I live in Lancaster Ohio I began building my home cnc about a year ago. I am a diesel mechanic by trade, my father is a retired tool and die maker and in building the two machines I have made he has proven to be invaluable. I got hooked on cnc when I went to a build your cnc website and just couldn't stop looking at it. I have just finished my second cnc machine and I am working out the bugs so I will probably be on here more often.
thank you all for your help.

Thank you, armed with your knowledge and other info I read last night I managed to correct my offset problem and load a couple small dxf. files after work today.

LazyCam (Beta) / Demo LC & Mach 3 not posting G-Code
« on: December 08, 2010, 09:33:23 PM »
I am brand new to this, and I just completed my 1st homemade CNC machine. I am demo-ing Mach 3 and Lazy Cam to run the machine. I like both programs, but after editing my auto cad picture in Lazy Cam and selecting "Post G-Code", the info box reads "Uploading G-Code" and then "Upload Complete." But, Mach 3 does not receive any info and when I open the LCam file with Mach 3, there is no G-Code in it. I'm not sure if this is just because I'm using the demo version or if it's because I don't have something working right. Help!!
