Hello Rufi,
many thanks for the update.
I got it installed and running, on the first impression is very good.
The Machine run very well. The poti`s respond now faster.

I want to thank you very much for the good good service...very fast service!
Now 3d milling makes fun again

Thank you very much. :)

Hello Ruffi,
thanks for your reply.
When will coming the MACH4? Will go for another year ?

I must say that the controller will run very well. 3D only with high feed rates, it is not  to control with this response time.

I have the latest plugin from you.

You have 10 Hz cycle update.
These are 0.1 sec update.
If that would feed override respond at this time. That would be very good.
You can not in the 0.1Sek. Cycles update the feed put before the buffer contents be executed

I hope you have a solution.
The controller is otherwise very good.

I hope to hear from you.

Have a huge problem with the Vital  DSPMC v2  and respond time of the feed override G01 and G00 rapid traverse.
The DSMP of Vital is for CAM users with 3-D lines (G01) and many small lines (G01) very, very dangerous.

If high feed driven in 3D so it's dangerous!

I have 2 Potentiometer on the machine. One Potentiometer is for G01 and one for G00.

If you want to reduce the feed override, so it's a long time to respond to the feed.

If you get a new part on the machine, the feed will appeal depending on the buffer size very delayed.
G00 is also delayed at the same time.

I have 3 controllers DSPMC v2 from Vital and all have the same problem.

The buffer must be set to minimum 10-15% if you run 2 million lines of G01 with F2000-5000 mm feed. Otherwise stutters the axes.

Depending on the buffer size, and the lengths of the G01 lines. The axes reduce the speeds at few millimeters up to centimeters.
Crash is programmed.

I have now several crashes with milling tools. Now it's too much

How did you solve this problem, the response time of the feed rate and even 3D-milling at high speed?

I think that this problem needs to be solved. By Industrie Maschines is it so.
The response time is directly.

If the problem cannot be resolved, I need to search for new controllers.

Does anyone have experience with other controllers?

Sorry for my language
Thanks for your help and greetings from Switzerland

Hello Ruffi,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I've already made. Buffer = 5%-10%
But when I processed 3 million lines with 3000mm/min I need the buffer.
Otherwise, the machine sputters.
If I have a new part on the machine, it is very dangerous if the feed is 10-100 lines are coming to stop.Has there been a few times a loss!

How do you solve this problem?
I hope that when I bring the analog values directly from DSPMC-7762M in the controller. I have not the Responsetime from the Pokey by the USB

The feed should not be dependent on the buffer!
For all machine tool manufacturers such feed G01 and GO pot responds instantly.

Have you an example, how do I get an analogue value in Mach3 to Brain

Thank you for your help and possible for an example

Hello Mach 3 users
I ordered the new DSPMC-7762M. Now I have it running on four servo axes. Is great!
Now my question:
I ordered the 7762M, it has analog inputs.
However, I want to integrate a potentiometer for G0 (rapid traverse) one for a G01 (feed) and one for the spindle speed in Mach3.

Has anyone done this already with Mach3? I make still with a Pokey.
But it is not at a high buffer value in the 3D Milling usable.
The buffer must be processed first, at then respond the potentiometers.

Does anyone have examples of how this is programmed in Mach3 ( with a brain in Mach3)??

If yes, please tell me about it.

Or how you've solved the problem? (The respond time from the potentiometers in 3D-milling)

Am very grateful for your help.
Sorry for my language .........

Kind regards from Switzerland
Guido

Hi Renato,
Yes, that is in the dspmc.xml File.
Will try it out.
Thank you very much for your help.

Hi Renato,
Thank you for your help. Will try it out.
What have you registered for values?

Thank you and greeting

Hi,
've got one yesterday from a friend Pokey and connected.
Goes well and the feed will change immediately on the display.
Well, if I, a contour milling with long segments, the feed will not immediately
taken from the potentiometer. Mach3 updates the value time-delayed.
Only after the third fourth segment of the new feed is accepted.
Can be set at the DSPMC-7762S something?
Even without Pokey, just across the screen, the behavior is same.
Did you do this? I'm using the version Mach3R3.042.038
and the latest Plugin by Vital.

Hello Renato, Mike,
Thank you for your help.
Then I'll order a Pokey.
Pokey is easily programmable.

Modbus is a bit too complicated for me !

Wish you a great time and
greetings from rainy......rainy Switzerland

dspMC/IP Motion Controller / Potentiometer input with DSPMC-7762S

Hi Mach 3 User,
I have recently acquired the new DSPMC-7762S. Now I have this running on three servo axes. Is great!
Now my question: I purchased the 7762S, This has no analog inputs.
However, I want integrate a potentiometer for G0 (rapid traverse) one for  G01 (feed)  and one for spindle speed in Mach3.
Has anyone ever been to Pokeys 55  http://www.poscope.com   with DSPMC-7762S operated together?
If so, please tell me about it.

Or how you have solved the problem?
(Mach3 and Smooth Stepper is doing well)!

Am very grateful for your help.
Sorry for my language.........

Best wishes from Switzerland
