General Mach Discussion / Mach3 or jog shuttle?
« on: February 06, 2015, 10:46:52 AM »
On occasion when using the jog shuttle;  http://www.tormach.com/store/index.php?app=ecom&ns=prodshow&ref=30616
the machine that I am using continues traveling in the same direction and rate that I am jogging, sometimes damaging parts or tools.

The times that I recognized this event occurring and attempted reverse and or stop movement I have been successful and have had to resort to hitting the master stop switch.  Another quirk I have noticed (might be related) is on occasion when using (feed hold) is that when resuming the cycle (cycle start) the on screen arrow is unresponsive for up to 30 seconds.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Help Installing .m3s screens?
« on: May 30, 2014, 11:45:34 AM »
I found optional screen sets on the ArtSoft website. Zip file attached.   Would modifying the "custom tailored" Mach screen set preinstalled on Tormach alter / disrupt the operation of a Tormach machine?

I would like to add: Goto Z to my Tormach / Mach screen as this function is not visible.  Or is there another way around this?  Thanks all who respond.

Would somebody please chime in.   The display of the object that I am working while on the Mach screen is too small.  Please point me in the direction where I can find instruction on how to adjust display sizes.  Thank you all.  Merry Christmas.   Jerry

My current mach3 screen only displays X,Y,Z axis.

Recently installed my 4th axis and am at a loss on where to begin with enabling the 4th axis to display and how to configure the settings.  Please advise me of where I can find this information.

Thanks all

Newfangled Mill Wizard / Mill Wizard will not load tool path screens
« on: March 24, 2013, 05:00:27 PM »
Dear Board
I am having difficulties in obtaining a visual display of all most any job that I create.  The sets that i take as I go dow the road of job creation are; new job/ select material/ tool calc feed.
I eventual select a function (rectangle row of holes,  circle, rectangle, slot)   to perform / define origin/ direction of cut etc. No image is displayed.

The only EXCEPTION to this is when I select thread mill I am presented with a graphical representation on my screen.  Please advise.  Thank you

Newfangled Solutions Mach3 Wizards / unable to view job
« on: March 24, 2013, 09:45:09 AM »

Dear members

I recently purchased the NFS Mill Wizard software.  Problem is that I am unable to display an image of the "work" on screen. I perform the following steps: new job/select material, calc feed.......pick a function and define origin and direction etc.  Save job.

For some reason I am unable to see / have lost the ability to see a display of the tool path on the screen.  Please advise.  Thanks in advance.
