say I draw a square in cad and want to drill some holes in it. Do I make a circle the size of the hole or do I just make a point. what does lazy cam or sheet cam like?

 I have never used Backlash Comp but if you do a search of the forum you will find some info, suggest you search with backlash  shuttle accel as your search words.
 There may even be something in the members docs part of the forum.

its a taig 2019 cnc mill. If memory serves me right you can adjust the nut for backlash. maybe I should take a look at that first.
