FAQs / Re: Stepping too fast / Motor tuning wrong
« on: November 28, 2009, 09:34:23 AM »
Hi Rich,
Motor tuning was done OK, it works correct.
It's just that in Mach for F7000 it moved 10500 in units/min and machine moved at 10500 too.
It was pulsing 35kHz at setted 25kHz in ports and pins section.
I reduced CPU speed on computer from 3Ghz to 2Ghz. Now it's pulsing 25kHz at setted 25kHz.

I resolved too fast pulsing problem.
I have to decrease cpu speed from 3Ghz to 2Ghz.
Thnx

DriverTest have same behaviour here.
But I noticed something funny with feeds.
And I have pulsing speed set at 35kHz. In diagnostics shows me it pulses at 49.5kHz.
Same for 25kHz setting it pulses 35kHz, for 45kHz setting it pulses at 65kHz.
Speeds are faster for this ratio in Jog and Feedrate.
Tried DriverTest it passes OK.
Also tried NormalDriver.bat and SpecialDriver.bat with same effect.
Tried to reinstall and still too fast.

Please Experts help me.
