General Mach Discussion / Problems from lazycam to mach3
« on: December 15, 2009, 06:10:49 AM »
Hello,

When I load a simple rectangular .DXF file from Inventor 11 into LazyCAM and make an offset around the outside, the code that appears in Mach3 makes the machine want to mill the part far beyond the reach of the machine. Even though I made a proper offset.

It seems to me the rapids to the starting point are the problem, but I can't seem to find a way to change those.

Can anyone help me?

Greetings,

Daan

Isn't there another way to install or test the driver?

I knew about the minimal specifications, but I don't have anything else to work with.

The only thing I have to do, is to get the jogging working so I can test if the axis move.
Can you think of something else that could be my problem?

With kind regards,

General Mach Discussion / Driver Problem
« on: November 25, 2009, 04:55:47 AM »
Hello,

I'm running a a win2000 machine with a 200 Mhz processor and 128 Mb's of memory.

I encounter a problem during the installation of Mach3, the Driver for the Parallel port won't install.
The 'No driver sensed, run Driver test' is displayed, but when I try to do that without having Mach3 running it gives me the same message when I double click the
Driver Test.exe.

Do any of you know in which way I can solve this problem?

With Kind Regards,

General Mach Discussion / Machine not working after a few months
« on: November 24, 2009, 08:20:03 AM »
Hello,

For my internship with a company in The Netherlands, I haven been asked to improve a 3-axis milling machine that has been standing still for a few months.
Before that time the machine worked effortlessly.

However, I've got a problem. Al the settings that were given in the manual are configured in Mach3, but even the jogging won't work.
I've checked the functioning of the Parallel port which is connected to the interface, if I present the interface with a manually generated signal from programs such as Port-Checker. The Axis do move...

Can anyone help me?

With kind regards,
