Newfangled Solutions Mach3 Wizards / Re: NFS Turn Wizard
« on: November 11, 2011, 02:46:51 PM »
Hi Ron,

While in run mode, when toggling the "edit" button note pad ( or any other editor) does not come up.

However, it does rewind the program and start the program and the machine! This does not happen when

the wizard is not called.

Thanks,

Bill

Hi Kees,

Your quite welcome. Back in April of this year, (Art's last dedicated block of time) we discovered this

issue with win7. Look at page 139 of the LT general posts for some other suggestions, on how to make

posts to notepad.

Cheers,

Bill

Hi, Look to see if the posted file (G code) is in the Mach folder with the name you assigned to it.

You might look into the relatively inexpensive sensors used on the servo driven
washing machines. Whirlpool cabrio in particular. This is a top load model with
a glass door. During the spin cycle if an out of balance condition is sensed ,
the unit stops and repositions the load by turning the drum in one direction
while turning the agitator in the other. Then a test run up, and if green
lighted, continues up to 2000 rpm. Pretty impressive for a 100lbs of wet
cloth.
I like this thread, and hope your idea works.

Slieghtly out of balance,

Bill

Kerry,  I was having the same problem with 7, but by accident while looking for something else in
the Mach folder, lo and behold all the tap files that were blank in note pad were sittin in there
all by them selves. just dragged them to desk top and all was well.

Regards,
Bill
