Thanks again

Dave,

I think I've been wasting your time. The reason is that my version of LC is currently unregistered and it would seem these versions only accept 50 lines of code. If this is the case please accept my deepest apologies. :-[

Best regards

Dave,

that should read AutoCAD. sorry. The drawing seems to have good smoothing when opened in AutoCAd and in LC. Its just that you only get approx a third of the elipse in the mach 3 toolpath screen?

Dave,

Thanks for taking an interest. I've attached a LC file and the file LC produced to send to M3.

Thanks

G-Code, CAD, and CAM discussions / Re: DXF import into Lazycam
« on: January 04, 2009, 03:54:20 PM »
Hi,

i read your comments with interest as I have just experienced the same issues. However, I seem to have the added complication the when importing from LC Mach 3 only displays about a third of the elipse image I'm trying to cut. Any ideas?

Regards

John

Hello,

I'm new to cnc so please bear with me. I'm having trouble loading an elipse shape to mach 3. I have discovered how to display a true arc (without thye straight lines) but lazycam only uploads about a third of the full elipse. Even I think this sounds like a novice problem but can anyone help?

Best regards

John
