General Mach Discussion / Problem loading code
« on: May 14, 2013, 10:42:12 AM »
Hello,

I'm having problem loading some code from time to time that are being produced by RhinoCam or CamBam, it creates these weird arc that swirls outside of the area like in the photo attached. I have also attached the G-Code for reference.

I updated to the latest stable version of Mach3 R3.043.066 last night but it's still happening. Does anyone know what could be causing these?

Thanks

Cool thank you!

Just a few glitch I found... if you are in the pref dialog and hit the "X" of the preff window, both the video and the pref window closes. The DLL version is still reporting as 2.0.9.0 under windows properties.

I'm using the one that is included with mach3 (Mach3 R3.043.022) defaults installation. Are there better ones out there?

Hello,

Is there a ways to disable the cross hair drawing on the video window? Also is it possible to not have the video image stretched to fit the window?

I have a Logitec QuickCam 5000 and the image has pretty big pixel.

Hey Chip,

I just tried it but you lose some precision....

I set the X and Y to 7" but if I go back in it's set to 7.006

LazyCam (Beta) / Lazycam size problem - svg
« on: August 07, 2008, 06:29:45 PM »
Hello guys,

I'm new to CNC mill and I'm just looking at mach3/lazycam. I'm using Illustrator CS3 to create my drawings and saving them as SVG as the support for DXF is not really good.

The problem I have is that the scaling of the drawing once imported into Lazycam is not the same, I have a 7" circle in Illustrator but once in LC it shows up as 504 units. I looked at the source of my svg and it is saved as 504... but pixels.

I looked at the SVG specification (http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG11/coords.html) and PX is a supported measurement unit. Should it be supported under LC? if not anyone know of a converter?

I'm attaching an example. The outside circle is supposed to be 7"
