Thanks Andrew, The machine is coming from my IS team as part of a company wide standardization.  They said they could load the 32 bit if needed, but preferred to use the 64.  It would be nice to have the extra gig, if I add a 3D design program to the machine like Solid Works.  After speaking with my manager, it is a consensus to stay with the 32 bit platform.

I have a licensed copy of Mach 3 Ver 2.63. My XP machine is being phased out and replaced with a Win. 7 machine. I use my router mill for 3D carving. I planned on using the 64 bit architecture so I can access all 4 gigs of ram on my machine.  Will I be able to update my version of Mach 3 with old license? Will I have to reset all my ports or will the new version accept them and save to the new version?

I thought it was just a download, but have found on my desktop that when I check the help version, It shows up as  demo version.  Would appreciate some guidence on how to correct the problem.

I would also recommend a double drive Y axis.  With the screws on the outside, It frees up the underside of the main cutting surface to be converted into a vacumn  hold down surface. 

I have used motion master table routers in the past.  One had vacumn the other didn't.  Setup on the vacumn table was much faster and preferred.

I have given up with my laptop and waiting for IS to get me a recent desktop.  I am sure t have better luck.  Will be posting photos when the motors are moving and I am carving.

HI, My name is Ray, I have been involved with cnc for many years, many on bigger machines, Motion Master routers running on Mastercam and Powermill.  I have recently started at the Science Museum of Minnesota and picked up an incompleteproject. It involves a Pilot Pro Hobby cnc router, a Hobbycnc chopper card.  I am attemting to interface them all with Mach3 at this time.  I am trying to locate setup instructions at this time as the card has power, but the card isn't getting data from Mach3 and need help to figure out the ports and pins, I think to make it move...Any helpis appreciated..
