I am going to do some more research.  Before I buy any servo drives not to mention that I need to put away my credit card.  Thanks for your help Olf20

It has DC Servo motors on it already.  Here's the thing.  The Servo drives are analog.  I am thinking that the best thing to do is switch drives and encoders.  I was looking over the drives on the machine and they are labeled 80 V and 15 amp.  Now I am looking at gecko drives 320 or 340 trying to decide on which one."   encoders are harder to shop for looking for recommendations.

I live in central Michigan and I am retrofitting a CNC  knee mill with Mach 3.  I am looking for somebody that could walk me through Mach 3 and hook up.  I am willing to pay for help within reason   Tony
