General Mach Discussion / Re: Full screen without title bar

Thanks for the response. I've used Windowblinds before, and was hoping that there was another way, but this may be my only option.

Thanks again,
Sean

General Mach Discussion / Full screen without title bar
« on: March 17, 2008, 03:08:44 PM »
First time posting here. Been an occasional lurker for the past couple of years while working on my machine, but now that it's time to configure mach, I finally have some questions. I bought my license almost 2 years ago. It's nice to finally be able to start using it to actually spin some motors.

Forgive me if this has been discussed before,A quick search didn't find the answer. I am using a rather small 12" lcd display in my custom control enclosure with a native resolution of 800X600. The reason that I am doing this is so that I can keep any given screen as simple as possible and divide the controls up among more screens rather than having too much info on a single screen. I am trying to minimize mouse and keyboard usage by having rows of buttons down the left and right sides of the screens which correspond to physical buttons adjacent to to the screen buttons. It's a similar setup to Southwests Prototrak system. In order to maximize my available screen space, I would like to be able to run mach3 in a full screen mode without the title bar or possibly even the border. Is this possible? I noticed that the feature list claims "full screen eligibility", but I'm not entirely clear on what this means. If it is not possible to set this directly in Mach, is there any software, or windows hacks (I'm currently running XP pro) that will allow this?

Thanks in advance,
Sean
