Mach4 General Discussion / Max velocity for Nema 24 motors

Hey guys,

Im setting up my motors in mach 4,  Ive got a routakit  HD with a stdr-4c controller with nema 24 motors. Im at 2000 units per minute (x axis) and it seems like its still running great.  I don't know what a reasonable number would be.  How much faster can/ should I go?

Mach4 General Discussion / configuring Fusion 360 to get rid of "k word given for arc in XY Plane"

Hi im super new to all of this but, ive got a simple pocket drawn in Fusion 360 and when I run the post process the Gcode it spits out gives me "k word given for arc in XY plane."  Im guessing MAch 4 can only do arcs in one plane at a time.  So does anyone know if there is a way to modify Fusion 360 so that the code given is only arcing in one plane at a time?

Mach4 General Discussion / Soigeneris Fault light and trouble getting Mach 4 configured for stdr-4c

HI all,

Im extremely new to CNC stuff like this.  Ive assembled a Routakit HD from a Kit (read a mashed up bag of parts with little guidance.)  Ive installed the ESS driver to allow me to talk to my STDR-4c and that went well but i didnt know enough to program the pins to the motors.  Routakit sent a profile, that didnt work and now my STDR-4c wont communicate with mach4 and is showing a fault light.  I cant find info on the fault light anywhere in the manual.  Any advice or reference material is greatly appreciated.
