Title: Screen resolution
Post by: Peter Zicha on December 18, 2008, 01:58:47 PM
I just bought a new dell 9inch laptop . is there any way to change mach3's resolution on this laptop since max resolution is only 1024 x 600 and not the regular 1024 x 768 ........ ???

Is there a button or key that controls the E-stop instead of activating it by mouse

This will only be for creating G-code when not at home

Any suggestions are most welcome and thank you

Not sure what you are asking but if you check AutoScreen Enlarge on General Config page then the screen should shrink to fit your  resolution.
Do you mean to have an external button or are you meaning a keyboard button? And is it the Stop or Reset button you are meaning?

You da man Hood , the auto screen button did the trick , problem was because of the resolution I could not see or get at the reset button to get things rolling let alone get at any other bottom buttons on all screens . Its the reset button that I am curious about is there a key that represents it or is it only accessible with the mouse

I think the hotkey set for the Reset in the  Mill screen is the ' key but you can edit that in screen 4 to asign any key you wish, just have to be carefull that it is not already being used for another function :)
