I dread to think about the mathematics needed to calculate the x,y,z,a,b,c etc. position of the cutting tool or the computer needed. I wonder if Smooth Stepper could handle it ? :)

I don't think the SS would have any problems.....nor would Mach if the software to do the math was there.
Certainly are some brilliant folks out there.
What I find really neat is that this does away with conventional tables, slides, screws and blocks. And, imagine the versatility of this thing on a gantry or bridge mill ! I think there was a video but I didn't watch them all.
