Title: Spindle and Speed control Section
Post by: Peter Homann on December 08, 2008, 07:42:59 PM
Hi,

I've noticed that there are quite a lot of questions regarding spindle control, speed set-up, etc. It may be an idea to have a forum section specifically for spindle and speed control related questions.

It would make my life easier as I'm happy to help advise in this area, but, I need to scan a lot of sections to find the relevant postings.

Just a thought.

Cheers,

Peter.

Personally I am not a big fan of all the sub forums, you just have to look at the CNC Zone to see how this can get out of hand. Just expressing my opinion :)

As a frequent visitor to the forum, I typically use the "Recent" feature. Quick and easy to see what's up.
Infrequent visitors could perhaps do a keyword search. It would be nice if the forum search could be set up with "Saved Searches" similar to the way eBay does. Then 1 click would show all pertinent posts by date/time in descending order.
I'm basically with Hood on this one.
It is also the primary reason that the Yahoo forum poll indicated the desire to keep these two Mach forums separate.
