Title: Prolight 3000 Lathe
Post by: H2 on December 04, 2008, 01:37:09 PM
Hi folks,

I have a prolight 3000 lathe coming next week with no PCI card.  Cost to replace the card appears to be more expensive than reconfiguring a new controller box.

Reading some older threads there is some good info but but they all die off without final info.

Has anyone out there completed the Prolight 3000 lathe conversion to Mach3 with tool changer?  Any help would be appreciated.

I will be doing a Prolight 2000 mill with servos and ATC as well but will post separately

All the best, Henry

Hi Henry,

Hood is the expert on this type of conversion, I am sure he will be able to help.

Tweakie.

Tweakie,

Thanks for the info but I ended up with the new PCI card from Intelitek.  Aside from "not" being Mach3 it is running well.

Truly nice machines.

All the best, Henry
