Check out this Model Engine. When you read things like this you realize you dont know everything and there are smarter people in the world than you.

I have seen this page before and my reaction is the same every time I see it- Sheer astonishment.
 I can't even imagine the amount of time and effort that took.
And to add insult to injury he is drawing the parts in acad 2000 ( 2d) and printing out the dimensions and hand entering them into his controller. Yuck. Imagine what he could do with solid works and master cam...
