Title: clarification needed

Hello,

I have spent several days trying to figure out how to use Mach3 in my plasma setup. I want to use 3 phase motors for x and y axis as well as for torch height.
I learnt that I could use one PWM output with MACH3 to drive one 3 phase motor by means of VFD. But... could I drive three 3 phase motors by means of three VFD's? Or at least two? :-)

Any help is highly appreciated, as I am in doubt should I pursue this kind of solution.

You need either steppers or servos for your axis. The PWM is meant for spindle control and cant be controlled for position.
