Title: PC video Requirements
Post by: Gausswave on September 30, 2008, 07:01:12 PM
Can you get away with on board video if you have a beefy enough machine?  I have resurected a D&M 4s and would like to evict the 386 in favor of a newer on board nachine.  The problem is I can't fit the veideo card in that space if it's perpendicular to the board like normal.

Although it isn't recommended, you could try it and see. Lots have gotten away with it. If your going to be running code that is many, many lines long and will take several hours to run, I'd go ahead and get a video card.
