Dear friends. Sorry, but my English is not good. I have a problem with Mach PWM spindle control. I use ncPod board and it work perfect. I connect PWM to Digital converter and config Mach. After them I connect voltmeter to PWM converter output (0-10V) and I have controling voltage. If I input in Mach 18000 rpm I view 9.97V on voltmeter. But my spindle max 24000 rpm! Also I input less 8000 rpm then view on voltmeter 0V. I dont find spindle preferences in Mach. Where is I input min and max spindle rpm?

Look in config., spindle pulley and in config., motor tuning set your vel. for the spindle motor to your max spindle RPM.

Thanks for you answer. I did it, but there is no result. In pulley selection I have Min 1000 and Max 24000 RPM
-
For which pulley?
Brett
-
First pulley. All others are identical.

Post your xml file and I'll have a look. I don't have or have ever messed wtih the NC pod so I will be limited as to what I can test.

If I input less 8000 RPM then Mach gives out the message "PWM Bumped to minimum setting".
-
Have you set up your spindle motor in Config, motor tuning?
Brett
-
Yes, but there are no changes. I have returned to standard options. I use PWM control, no step/dir.
-
Go into motor tuning, spindle motor and change your vel. to 24000, save axis setting and exit. See if that helps.

No result...

I use AutoCal in spindle calibration window. When calibration ended I have checked spindle work. It has absolutely ceased to work! At any RPM on the voltmeter 9,97V.
