Title: TURN ON/OFF OF ROUTER AND dust EXTRACTOR WITH MACH3

Hello Everybody

I need to know hot to turn on/off a router and a dust extractor, I have a Hobby CNC HCNCPRO CARD and MACH 3.

Router is a 1 3/4HP porter and cable 110v , and dust extractor is home made with 110v motor.

Excusme my bad english, I hope make me understand.

Hi Rene,

I believe what you're after is a relay box to switch these items on and off via Mach 3 on your PC? Here's a great tutorial on how to make such a box:

Hello

you need to configure in the menu Ports and pins the Output signals section first.

In Output 1 (for On-Off Router) give the pin number of the hobbycnc card (1.14.16 or 17)
in output 2 (one of the 3 ports possible)

I considered that you have the right interface (solid state relay, or mechanical relay)

After you need (in the same menu) Spindle Setup, indicate for Clockwise and CCW the
Output # 1.
The same is to do for the flood.

I have the idea more and less near about what must i do for this, I don't have a realy box, I saw the pe page http://www.cartertools.com/tbbrb.html, is a great and easy solution
but now my problem is  how to get the 2ea Crydom D2425 Solid State Relay

I live in Cuba and maybe this model is imposible to buy here, I need if you can sugest me some equivalents
or the especifications to this solid state relay, and  is factile use some one from discard equipment?
