Post by: CJEls on July 11, 2008, 01:28:28 AM
Hi All

I want to know If any body has written a plugin that works with the modbus pcb from cnc4pc. I want to setup a handwheel and cycle start, feedhold, x+, x-, Z+, Z-,plus selecting x or z axis for hand wheel with this board.

Thank you

I have a plug in that uses the mod bus, I am using the M13 board.........
It can jog all 6 axis at once, if you got the buttons........
I am adding some dialog stuff, and a few other bells and whistles.

BUT: having said the above, you can do all that you want above, with a "Brian"

get the docs for the M1, configure your serial port (the one on your computer).

then follow his instructions, for configing the Modbus, test the com that way.

down load his brain, for it, and follow those instructions.

there is too much crap with that stuff to try and tell you on a message. His docs go into far greater detail.
