Post by: giordano on June 27, 2008, 07:47:00 AM
Hi to all. be a good idea, set zero the utensil in default points, to make to calculate to Mach3 a compensation of the planarità of the surface of support of the piece to work? excuse my English. Hi to everybody. Giordano

Sorry .... sometimes the work plan is not perfectly linear. From x0 to xmax and y0 to ymax could be a small difference in height. It would be a good idea to make Mach3 setting these values be able to perform processing offsetting these differences. Hello Giordano.

Hello Giordano,
Do you mean to have Mach compensate for a twisted or warped table and have the Z axis Zero always the same distance from the table ?
If that is what you mean, I'm not sure that it can. You would probably need to true up your machine.
